XIX Moscow International Salon of Inventions
and innovative technologies "Archimedes-2016"
From March 29 to April 1, 2016, the XIX Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies "Archimedes-2016" will be held in Sokolniki Exhibition and Exhibition Center.
About the eventThe Archimedes Salon is supported by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, the Government of Moscow, the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The main purpose of organizing the Archimedes salon is to assist creators and manufacturers of innovative products in commercializing the results of intellectual activity.
The Archimedes 2015 Salon brought together more than 315 organizations and over 700 inventors, participants from 17 states and 44 regions of the Russian Federation, who presented 680 inventions and innovative projects in 42 classes. The exposition of the Salon "Archimedes-2015" occupied over 5000 sq.m. of exhibition space.
The Salon's events are covered by Russian and foreign media, including federal, regional and local TV channels, Internet resources, news, specialized and popular scientific publications and other mass media. The catalog and video presentations of the Salon participants' projects are publicly available on the website www.innovexpo.ru in the categories "Online exhibition of inventions" and "Archimedes-TV".
During the Salon there is an International conference on the Legal Protection of Intellectual Property results organized by Rospatent, events of the International University of the Inventor: seminars, round tables, presentations of national delegations and unique projects that make the atmosphere of the Archimedes Salon rich and businesslike.
For the purpose of innovative development of industries of the Russian Federation together with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Rospatent, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of the City of Moscow, Avtodor Group, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Department of Housing and Communal Services of the city of Moscow, and the Department of Urban Planning Policy of the city of Moscow within the framework of the Salon "Archimedes" competitions are held: "The best invention in the interests of the Ministry of Defense of Russia", "The best invention in the interests of law enforcement", "The best invention of the Archimedes Salon", "The best innovative project in the interests of the construction industry of Moscow", "The best invention in the interests of housing and communal services of Moscow", "The best invention in in the interests of the aerospace industry", "The best invention in the interests of the road industry", "The best invention in the interests of human protection and salvation", "The best project in the interests of the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation" and a number of other competitions. Based on the results of participation in these competitions, the most promising inventions and innovative projects are selected in order to further implement them through the departments of the co-organizers of the competitions.
Participants of the XIX Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies "Archimedes" for the most interesting and promising exhibits in industrial use, evaluated by an International jury, will receive gold, silver, bronze medals of the Salon, Diplomas of ministries and departments, including the Ministry of Defense, Rospatent, the Government of Moscow, VOIR, medals and prizes, including money, from Russian and international innovative organizations, Invention salons, sponsors of the Salon. For the best inventions, the organizers established the Grand Prix – "Golden Archimedes".
