Exposition of the All-Russian public movement "Medicine for quality of life" in the Duma

On March 18, 2008, the annual exposition of the All-Russian Public Movement "Medicine for Quality of Life" dedicated to summing up the results of the II All-Russian Forum "Medicine for Quality of Life", held from June to November 2007 in the administrative centers of the federal districts of the Russian Federation, opens in the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. The exposition is supported by the State Duma Committee on Health Protection.

The deputies of the State Duma will be introduced to the activities of the All-Russian public Movement "Medicine for quality of Life", with the results of the I and II All-Russian Forums "Medicine for Quality of Life" held in 2006-2007. Within the framework of the exhibition, the presentation of the book "II All-Russian Forum "Medicine for Quality of Life" will take place. Results and prospects", which contains the materials of the Forum and the final declaration. In addition to summing up the results, the exposition in the State Duma announces the III All-Russian Forum "Medicine for Quality of Life", which will begin its work on June 23, 2008 in Moscow and will continue its work in all federal districts of the Russian Federation.

During the exhibition, the Association of Palliative Medicine, established in December 2007 and the Medical Business Association, which is currently being created, will be presented, whose task will be to assist representatives of the medical business in developing and implementing optimal organizational and methodological forms, methods and new high technologies in medicine in practical healthcare, as well as creating conditions for consolidation with representatives of executive and legislative authorities and civil society structures.

The exhibition will be attended by the official partners of the All–Russian Public Movement "Medicine for Quality of Life", who took an active part in holding forums in the subjects of the Russian Federation - NIPK "Electron" and F. Hoffmann-La Roche, who will present their socially significant programs "White Flower" and "Equal right to Life".

The opening of the exhibition will be attended by members of the Health Protection Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, representatives of public organizations, mass media.
