These areas will be added to such industries as industry and information technology, which were presented at the first exhibition last year, members of the organizing committee of the exhibition told representatives of leading European and American companies at the presentation of the exposition.

According to the organizers, companies from Germany, Israel, Canada, and Poland have already announced to participate in Innoprom. Negotiations are underway with companies from other countries.

"We plan to organize a kind of meeting of supply and demand at the exhibition. Demand will be represented by such major projects as the APEC 2012 Summit in Vladivostok, the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, and the 2018 FIFA World Cup. To implement these projects, innovative developments are needed, which will be presented at the exhibition by small and medium-sized businesses," said Elena Moskalenko, a representative of the organizing committee, noting that this form of work will improve the quality of public procurement.

Last year, more than 1 billion euros worth of contracts were signed at the Innoprom-2010 exhibition. The organizers hope that this year this indicator will be covered.
