International Conference FiztehBio – 2014
The IV annual International Scientific and Practical conference of FIZTECHBIO will be held on May 29-30, 2014 at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (Moscow Region, Dolgoprudny, Institutsky Lane, 9).
How to create conditions under which there will be a functioning chain of innovation generation and a transfer of developments to the industry will be established? How to attract world-class scientists to Russian universities? Why are universities the drivers of innovation clusters all over the world? All these and other questions will be answered by the participants of the PhystechBio conference, which is taking place for the fourth time within the walls of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT).
Nobel Prize laureates Michael Levitt, Barry Sharpless and Robert Huber, leaders of the Russian pharmaceutical and medical industry, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, relevant departments, development institutes, and leading regional pharmaceutical clusters are invited to participate.
Pharmaceuticals and medical equipment are priority areas of development of the innovative industry of the Russian Federation and the main technological trend in the XXI century. The national program "Pharma 2020" consolidates substantial funds to support the development of domestic scientists and the transfer of innovative technologies to the Russian pharmaceutical industry.
MIPT is a leading research university in Russia and a recognized brand of Russian education abroad. MIPT is an active participant in the program of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation to improve the competitiveness of Russian universities 5TOP100. The development of the innovative component of Russian universities, the creation of a research base for new achievements in fundamental and applied science are important tasks of the program, and MIPT sees its special mission in their implementation.
