International Forum "The Older Generation"
JSC Lenexpo and the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences will hold the International Forum "The Older Generation" on March 19-22, 2009. The initiative of the forum organizers is fully supported by the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation and the Government of St. Petersburg. The purpose of the forum is to draw public attention to the problems of elderly people, to increase awareness of the problem of demographic aging of society, the individual and social needs of older people, to generalize domestic and foreign experience in this area, to promote domestic producers of goods and services for these groups of the population, the development of relevant markets.
The congress part of the international forum "The Older Generation" is a scientific and practical conference "Social adaptation, support and health of the elderly in modern society", as well as seminars and round tables on topical issues of the development of social and medical care for the elderly.
Specialized exhibition of social, medical care, goods and services for the elderly "Care, help, mercy-2009". The experience of the first three exhibitions has shown that the public's interest in the problems of the elderly population is huge.
The 2008 exhibition was located in the 4th pavilion of the LENEXPO exhibition complex and occupied a total area of 2500 sq.m.
About 90 enterprises and organizations from different regions of Russia, Denmark and Finland took part in the exhibition. The exhibition was visited by more than 7000 people. More than 1000 specialists from 30 regions of Russia took part in the business program of the exhibition.

The exhibition "Everything for Health" is not only a real opportunity to get acquainted with the achievements of medicine, cosmetology, new pharmaceuticals, but also to establish a productive dialogue between specialists, manufacturers and suppliers. The exhibition is intended for both specialists in the field of medicine, pharmacology, cosmetology, and a wide range of visitors.
