International Medical Forum'2009
From April 5 to April 8, 2009 in Sokolniki Exhibition Center, pavilion. 4, an International Medical Forum will be held, combining three specialized exhibitions: REHAMED, REHATech and MEDproject. The Forum is the main event in the field of medicine and social rehabilitation of people with disabilities.
The organizer of the project: The International Exhibition Company "MVK" with the support of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation, the Government of Moscow, the Department of Health of the City of Moscow, the Department of Social Protection of the Population of the City of Moscow, the Moscow City Employment Service, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
In 2009, the forum is held in the "Year of Equal Opportunities". According to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, the attitude towards disabled people in our country needs to be changed, making their support a state priority. The social significance of the International Medical Forum is obvious. Scientific and practical conferences on rehabilitation, restorative and aesthetic medicine will be organized within the framework of the exhibition.
On the opening day of the exhibition, the Spring 2009 rally will take place (participants are people with disabilities, the organizer is the MAKI auto club). Rally "Spring 2009", included in the official calendar of the Russian Automobile Federation (RAF) with the support of the magazine Avtomir.
Exhibitors from Russia and other countries will be represented on an area of about 3000 sq.m. Among the participants of the exhibition are companies working in the field of design, construction and equipping of clinics, developers and manufacturers of modern means of rehabilitation, prosthetics, means and methods of restorative treatment. In addition, charitable and public organizations whose activities are aimed at supporting people with disabilities will be represented at the Forum.
The exhibition will feature an exposition focused on working with disabled children. During the work of the Medical Forum, a "Job Fair for people with disabilities" will be held. Representatives of federal and regional state institutions will hold meetings with visitors at the stand of the Department of Social Protection.
The participants-specialists, managers, representatives of Russian and foreign companies will get acquainted with the latest technical means of rehabilitation, rehabilitation programs, as well as technologies in the field of design, construction, equipping clinics and medical facilities, the most modern medical equipment.
