The Skolkovo Foundation will hold the Russian Startup Tour 2014
According to the press service of the Skolkovo Foundation, the Russian Startup Tour 2014 will be held in the first half of 2014. A memorandum on the preparation of the event was signed on October 31 within the framework of the Open Innovations Forum between the Skolkovo Foundation, JSC RVC, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs – Rosmolodezh and JSC Rusnano.
The Russian Startup Tour 2014 is held for the second time in order to develop innovative entrepreneurship in the field of high technologies in the regions of Russia, as well as to promote the development of promising regional companies and projects by providing entrepreneurs with information about support opportunities at the federal level. The tour will take place in the period from January to April 2014 and will cover 25 cities from Vladivostok to St. Petersburg. It is expected that more than 5,000 people will take part in the series of events, including regional startups, research teams, expert communities, regional technology parks, students and faculty of regional universities, government representatives, industrial companies, regional media, investors.
At each of the events of the Russian Startup Tour 2014, experts from among the organizers and partners of the project will tell in detail about the opportunities that the current market offers for the development of innovative projects. As part of the coaching sessions, specific tools and services will be presented to bring a startup to the market and achieve success. The topic of attracting development institutions as investors will be discussed separately. The participants of the meetings will be able to get a preliminary assessment of the quality of their projects and their investment attractiveness.
The rich program of the Russian Startup Tour 2014 was developed taking into account the specifics of each specific region and includes, in addition to presentations, business games, seminars, consultations of leading coaches. Intensive immersion in the problems of creating a successful startup is designed to push the developers of innovative projects to a new round of development.
