AgroGenetics 2017
The Skolkovo Foundation and MIPT announce the acceptance of applications for participation in the competition "Agrogenetics – 2017: The best projects in the field of genetics, breeding and technologies for the realization of genetic potential".
The competition selects the best projects in the field of genetics, breeding and technology for the realization of the genetic potential of agricultural crops, animal husbandry and aquaculture, which have a significant potential for commercialization and a pronounced innovative component.
Nominations:
a) Crop production: accelerated creation of new varieties and hybrids of agricultural crops, seed production technologies, development of new plant protection products and fertilizers;
b) Animal husbandry and aquaculture: modern methods of breeding breeds, development of new veterinary drugs and diagnostic tools for diseases;
c) Bioinformatic technologies in genetics, breeding and diagnostics;
d) Engineering and IT solutions for agriculture: technologies for precision farming, land reclamation, equipment for livestock complexes;
e) Closed-ground crop production: technologies, biological plant protection products in protected ground, equipment;
The winners of the selection in each of the five nominations will receive:

mentoring support from the organizers and the jury;

the opportunity to apply for the status of a Participant in the Skolkovo project;

the possibility of obtaining a mini-grant from the Skolkovo Foundation in the amount of up to 5 million rubles inclusive;
-
entrance ticket to the Startup Village 2018 conference.
The final of the competition will be held on October 6, 2017 – within the framework of the Golden Autumn 2017 conference.
The organizer of the conference is the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
Applications for participation in the competition are accepted until September 12, 2017.
