Biology competition for schoolchildren
The competition of the "Alferov Foundation" for the best research work in the field of biology for schoolchildren for 2014 is announced. Original research and abstract review papers are accepted for consideration.
The purpose of the competition is to support scientific research of schoolchildren in the field of biology, popularization of fundamental and applied science among young people, its applications in practical activities, orientation of young people to receive biological education. According to the results of the competition, the authors of the best works prepared on the basis of original developments and new ideas are supported. The competition for schoolchildren is aimed at involving young people in research activities.
Students of grades 9-11 can take part in the competition.
Works are accepted until November 30. The announcement of the winner is on December 15.
The winners are awarded with prizes:
- place – 30,000 rubles .
- place – 20,000 rubles .
- place – 10,000 rubles .
The winners and prize-winners of the competition are awarded with diplomas. Participants of the competition are awarded with certificates of participation. The award-winning author(s), before presenting the diploma(s), make a report on the award-winning work.
