Competition of projects on innovative small entrepreneurship

The Russian State University of Innovative Technologies and Entrepreneurship (RSUITP) announces the holding of the VI All-Russian competition of innovative projects of students, postgraduates and young scientists on innovative small entrepreneurship in priority areas of science and high technology development and a Conference on its results. The competition is aimed at identifying and supporting the most talented and capable youth representatives, expanding the mass and increasing the effectiveness of participation of young scientists in research activities and scientific and technical creativity in order to increase innovation activity, staffing of knowledge-intensive sectors of the economy, support of small innovative entrepreneurship in the scientific and technical sphere and the development of the scientific and industrial complex of the country.

The competition will be held in the following priority areas:· Information and telecommunication systems

· Nanosystems industry and materials
· Live systems
· Rational use of natural resources
· Energy and energy conservation

Citizens of the Russian Federation – students, postgraduates, young scientists under the age of 35 have the right to participate in the Competition.

Applications for participation in the competition are accepted from May 11 to September 25, 2010 inclusive. The competition is held in two stages. The first stage (correspondence) is held from September 26 to September 30, 2010 inclusive. The authors of the winning projects of the first stage of the competitive selection will be invited to participate in the Conference, within the framework of which the second stage of the All–Russian competitive selection will take place.

The conference is scheduled to be held from October 5 to October 8, 2010 in the Moscow region. The event is accredited in the Program "U.M.N.I.K.", conducted by the Foundation for Assistance to the Development of Small Forms of Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Field (details of the program can be found at: ).

The winners of the second stage of the competitive selection will receive funding under the Program "U.M.N.I.K.".

The organizers of the competition pay for the participants of the Conference accommodation, meals and transfer from Moscow to the Conference venue and back to Moscow.

The collection of competitive applications is carried out in the competitive remote access system "InfoStar". To participate in the competition, you must register in the InfoStar system by choosing the contest "VI All-Russian Competition of innovative projects of students, postgraduates and young scientists on innovative small entrepreneurship in priority areas of science and high technology development (2010)" and fill out the competition forms. Applications submitted without complying with the registration requirements will not be considered.
