Competition for the right to receive St. Petersburg grants in 2012

Grants of St. Petersburg in the field of scientific and scientific-technical activities (hereinafter referred to as grants) are provided by the Committee for Science and Higher Education in the form of subsidies in accordance with ... (list of laws on eight sheets :).

Grants are provided in the form of subsidies to the following individuals and legal entities (with the exception of state (municipal) institutions) specified in Article 5 of the Law of St. Petersburg, carrying out scientific, scientific and technical activities on the territory of St. Petersburg (hereinafter referred to as applicants), recognized as winners of the St. Petersburg grant competition in the field of scientific and scientifictechnical activities:

  • scientific organizations;
  • educational institutions in the system of higher and postgraduate professional education that have state accreditation;
  • regional associations of legal entities (associations, unions), if scientific and (or) scientific and technical activities are provided for by their constituent documents;
  • groups of researchers engaged in joint scientific, scientific and technical activities on the basis of a contract;
  • scientific workers;
  • teaching staff of educational institutions in the system of higher and postgraduate professional education;
  • individual entrepreneurs.

Subsidies are provided on a gratuitous and irrevocable basis in order to reimburse costs or lost income incurred in 2012 in connection with the production (sale) of goods, performance of works, provision of services in the implementation of scientific and technical activities, experimental developments, applied scientific research (hereinafter referred to as work) in the following areas of grant provision in St. Petersburg in the field of scientific and scientific-technical activities (hereinafter referred to as grants), specified in Article 4 of the Law of St. Petersburg:

  1. applied chemistry;
  2. applied physics;
  3. materials;
  4. information technology;
  5. energy-saving technologies;
  6. the medicine;biology;
  7. sociology;
  8. Economy;
  9. ecology.

The maximum amount requested by the applicant for the grant should not exceed:

  • for individuals 100 thousand rubles.
  • for legal entities 200 thousand rubles.

The conditions for granting grants are:

  1. Performance by applicants of works in the directions specified in Article 4 of the Law of St. Petersburg and this notice.
  2. Ensuring that applicants meet the following requirements:
  • scientific novelty and (or) scientific, scientific and technical level of work;
  • availability of the opportunity to use the results of the work in practice;
  • availability of personnel, material and technical resources to perform the work;
  • the importance of the results of the work for St. Petersburg.
