Innovations in Russia through the eyes of journalists

According to the press service of RVC, JSC "Russian Venture Company" announces the establishment of the All-Russian competition for media representatives "Innovations in Russia through the eyes of journalists-2011".

The objectives of the Contest are to encourage and stimulate the activities of journalists and mass media engaged in covering innovative processes in Russia, as well as to attract the attention of broad segments of society to the issues of innovative development of Russia.

A society that has chosen an innovative path of development cannot develop successfully without mastering the achievements of science, creating new technologies and developing successful innovative businesses based on them in almost any field of activity. Today, only with the help of innovative and technological entrepreneurship, it is possible to solve the pressing problems of humanity - prolonging life, ensuring its safety, preserving the environment, creating alternative energy, space exploration and many others. And, of course, to provide Russia with one of the leading places in the global division of labor.

The competition "Innovations in Russia through the eyes of journalists-2011" will be held from December 15, 2010 to March 11, 2011. The results of the competition will be announced on April 4, 2011. Among the participants of the competition, an authoritative jury will select the winners in 8 nominations dedicated to the topic of innovation journalism, namely:

• best TV story (or series of programs);
• best radio show (or series of shows);
• the best publication in the socio-political or business media;
• the best publication in online media;
• the best print media covering innovative activities;
• the best online media covering innovative activities;
• the best regional media covering innovative activities;
• the best blog covering innovative activities.

The winners of the contest will be awarded prizes and prizes. The total prize fund of the contest will be 1 million rubles.

The official launch of the competition "Innovations in Russia through the eyes of journalists-2011" will be given at a press conference on December 15, 2010. The website will start working on the same day www.rvc-contest.ru , where all the necessary information about the contest will be published to potential participants.
