Skolkovo Innovation Award – 2012
The purpose of the competition for the Skolkovo Innovation Award is to support startup projects that can become a starting point for the development of new technology companies in Russia.
The contest can be attended by:
- citizens of the Russian Federation permanently residing in Russia
- legal entities registered in Russia
Technological projects based on the development and use of network and cloud technologies and related to one of the following three categories are accepted for the competition:
- Application of technologies in energy saving
- Application of technologies in healthcare
- The use of technology in education
To participate in the contest, you need to go to the contest website, fill out the registration form, add your competition project and answer additional questions.
Acceptance of applications ends on December 31, 2012.
All ideas will be evaluated by a competent jury according to the following criteria: market potential, originality and creativity, compliance with the conditions of the Russian and world markets, the probability of successful application.
The winners (individual individuals or teams) will receive gratuitous grants from Cisco, which they can use to further develop ideas and build their own companies.
The prize fund of the contest is 5,250,000 rubles and will be distributed as follows:
1st place – 3,000,000 rubles;
2nd place – 1 500 000 rubles;
3rd place – 750,000 rubles.
