The Foundation for Assistance to the Development of Small Forms of Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Sphere announced the launch of the START-10 program
The purpose of the program is to assist small innovative enterprises at the initial stage of development in carrying out research and development work on the development and creation of innovative high–tech goods and services with great potential for commercialization.
The program is designed for three years. Financing in the first year is provided for R&D, which will allow the company to enter the market either independently or by attracting extra-budgetary investments. The transition to the second and third years of financing is also carried out on a competitive basis.
The deadline for submitting applications for companies (information technology, software products and telecommunication systems; medicine, pharmacology, biotechnology for medicine; chemistry, chemical technologies, new materials, construction) is from September 24 to December 1, 2009. The winners will be announced on January 21, 2010.
