XII contest "Young. Audacious. Promising."

The Committee on Science and Higher Education of the Government of St. Petersburg announces the acceptance of applications for participation in the XII contest "Young. Audacious. Promising."

The competition is held by the Committee for Science and Higher Education in accordance with the Decree of the Government of St. Petersburg dated 06/19/2007 No. 684 "On the main measures for the development of scientific activity in St. Petersburg for 2008-2011".

The authorized organization of the competition is the Economic News Agency "RENA".

Objectives of the competition:stimulating entrepreneurial and innovative activity of young people;

  • formation of a base of business ideas, projects and innovative developments for their further promotion;
  • formation of an environment conducive to the creation of sustainable contacts between young people and organizations engaged in entrepreneurial and scientific-innovative activities, potential investors and other subjects of business processes;
  • promotion of youth entrepreneurship

Students, postgraduates, young scientists, managers aged 18 to 30 years inclusive are invited to participate in the Competition (age at the time of the competition is taken into account).

The contestants can choose one of three nominations: "business ideas", "scientific and technical developments", "research projects". Three winners are determined in each nomination.

The winners of the contest, which will be held this year for the twelfth time, will receive cash prizes: 1st place – 100 thousand rubles, 2nd place – 60 thousand rubles, 3rd place – 40 thousand rubles.

According to the results of the competition, a catalog is formed with the inclusion of all the works of the participants who have passed the examination.

Applications are accepted from July 15 to August 15, 2009.
