Zvorykin Prize for Young Innovators

On March 5, 2010, a contest of youth innovative projects for the highest award in the field of innovation – the Zvorykin Prize in 2010 - was launched on the website of the Zvorykin Project.

Applications for participation in the competition are accepted automatically when filling in the required fields in the full project profile. On the basis of the completed profile, the examination of the declared projects is carried out. All projects of the system, the authors of which claim to receive the Zvorykin Prize, are subject to expert evaluation.

This year, the winners will be awarded in 8 nominations within the framework of the competition:

3 general nominations: • The best innovative idea

• The best innovative project
• The best innovative product

Laureates in 3 general award categories will be awarded 1,000,000 rubles,

5 special nominations, within the framework of which the tasks set by the Commission under the President of the Russian Federation on modernization and technological development of the Russian economy are solved:
• "Energy efficiency and energy conservation"
• "Nuclear technologies"
• "Space technologies and telecommunications"
• "Medical technologies"
• "Strategic Information Technologies"

The winners in five special nominations will receive investment financing for their project. The best projects submitted in the framework of special nominations will be submitted for consideration by the working groups of the Commission under the President of the Russian Federation on Modernization and Technological Development of the Russian Economy.
