Zvorykin Prize – 2013: results

The Zvorykin Prize was awarded in Moscow

<url>Last week, the Bauman Moscow State Technical University hosted the All-Russian Innovation Convention.

More than 800 entrepreneurs in the field of technology, young scientists, leaders of startup projects, Russian and foreign scientists, heads of scientific and technological centers and business incubators, government representatives and journalists took part in its work.

The main event of the Convention was the summing up of the All-Russian competition of youth innovative projects "Zvorykin Prize". The finalists held final presentations of their projects, during which the investment potential of their developments was evaluated. Experts identified five laureates who received 1 million rubles each for the implementation of their developments.

Lyudmila Belskaya from Omsk won in the nomination "Biomedical Technologies" with the project "Test Lab", which allows screening of socially significant diseases by the composition of human saliva. The essence of the project is to develop a technique for early diagnosis of cancer by saliva using biochemical analysis methods.

In the nomination "Information Technologies" Alexander Khanin won with the project "ReAction". The essence of the project is to use contextual video analysis technology. The technology allows you to recognize faces, car numbers, actions of people in the frame, etc.

Maria Rezvova was the first in the nomination "New Materials". The participant is 23 years old, she hails from Kemerovo. Its development under the title "Expansion of the spectrum of action of therapeutic ion-exchange lenses" involves the use of therapeutic ion-exchange lenses for first aid in chemical and thermal burns of the eyes, as well as for the treatment of injuries and infectious diseases.

Vitaly Ponomarev won in the category "Instrument Engineering". A twenty-five-year-old Muscovite received money for his WayRay project, which previously became one of the winners of the Generation S business accelerator. The novelty is a navigation system that projects an image onto the windshield of a car in augmented reality format.

Anna Linnik, another Kemerovo resident, won in the nomination "Clean Technologies". Her project "KeraTech" is a technology for processing poultry waste into protein, which goes further to animal feed. This makes it possible to make the work cycle of the poultry processing factory closed.

The Zvorykin Prize is a national innovation award for young scientists and specialists and is held by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs within the framework of the Zvorykin Project program.
