How much do pharmaceutical industry specialists cost?
Generis has prepared a review on the salaries of specialists in the field of circulation of medicines and medical equipment. (An overview in the form of a table is given below – VM).
As a generalized analysis of job advertisements posted in specialized Moscow publications and on job sites has shown, the starting salary offered today to medical representatives is 20-45 thousand rubles. Regional managers looking for work find salary offers in the media in the range of 50-80 thousand rubles. Employers offer approximately the same salary (40-80 thousand rubles) to managers selling medicines. The amount of the basic salary of clinical research specialists indicated in the recruitment announcements is approximately 40 thousand rubles, and managers for registration of medicines – 70 thousand rubles. Product managers in foreign companies are offered a starting salary of 57-80 thousand rubles. In Russian firms, the offers are slightly lower – within 75 thousand rubles. One of the highest paid categories of managers in the pharmaceutical industry is the heads of marketing departments, starting salaries reach 120-160 thousand rubles.
Analyzing the level of salary offers in pharmaceutical retail, the experts of Generis stated that the amount of the basic salary of a pharmacist / pharmacist indicated in job advertisements is 17-33 thousand rubles, the pharmacy director is 30-40 thousand rubles.
Commenting on the results of the review, Evgenia Alexandrova, Deputy General Director of Generis, explained that the review included real proposals, but it is not clear whether there were any responses to them at all. And if there were, then it is not known to what extent the qualifications of the responding specialists corresponded to the company's requests. "Nevertheless, we believe that such a review can be useful to employers at the initial stage of forming a job description, because it gives an idea of how much money other companies are looking for specialists today," Evgenia Alexandrova noted. – But at the same time, we must not forget that our report is not a list of ads, in it vacancies with salary offers are summarized by position and vary within the "fork" depending on the degree of compliance with qualification requirements.
