The investments will be aimed primarily at ensuring wide patenting of the technology in Russia, Europe and the USA, launching a new version of the diagnostic equipment device on the market and expanding the line of the screening platform in such areas as urology, neurology, traumatology, rehabilitation and monitoring of the course of treatment.

RTM Diagnostics company specializes in the development and commercialization of deep radiothermometry technology based on the measurement of own electromagnetic radiation of human tissues in the microwave wavelength range and infrared range, which allows noninvasively detecting temperature anomalies at a depth of several centimeters. This method allows you to diagnose the presence of malignant formations in the early stages, while the technique is absolutely harmless and can be used as an express diagnostic method.

To date, the radiothermometry method is actively used in the diagnosis of breast diseases, where sensitivity indicators of 85-92% and specificity of 70-75% are achieved. The use of a safe diagnostic method in young, pregnant and lactating women is currently one of the fundamental in detecting oncological diseases at an early stage, which significantly increases the accuracy of diagnosis and prescribed treatment. Of course, this method can become one of the priorities at the time of diagnosis in conjunction with other diagnostic methods.

"The radiothermometry method is indispensable in areas such as mammology, because screening through this technology allows not only to see an early problem in time, but also to prescribe effective treatment. At the moment, monitoring the patient's treatment is the most important task of the medical sphere, because it is on it that the health of a woman as a whole depends. For many patients, a method that can not only find the disease, but also help preserve the mammary gland is very important and we are ready to develop this technology, giving patients the right to life, and doctors the right to a professional and qualitative approach to treatment," comments Alexander Ivanovich Romanov, MD, professor, member of theCorrespondent of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation.

"Medicine needs technology now more than ever, which will be able to give a specialist a clear understanding of the revealed pathology in humans. Many existing diagnostic standards record the fact of the disease that has already taken place. And this applies to any field – from gynecology to pediatrics. The technique that can give an idea of the disease at the earliest stage is indispensable, giving the doctor a chance to prevent a more serious disease. Our goal is to find areas of application of radiothermometry technology in addition to mammology, because this method has potential in various fields. Our task is to actively support the work on the introduction of this diagnostic method to the masses and find technological solutions for various applications, improving the diagnostic process," said Sergey Vesnin, founder of RTM Diagnostics and author of the project.

"The investment funds raised jointly with the Moscow Seed Fund will help the company to solve its tasks of expanding the product line and bringing new generation diagnostic devices to the market," says Egor Beketov, Director of the RVC Biofund.
