The "smart" first aid kit, which was compiled by doctors

EverCare based on Medgadget: GALE, a Smart First Aid Kit Backed by Real Clinicians

A home first aid kit usually consists of a bunch of bandages, gauze, some pills, in the Russian version - green, and other medicines, just stuffed into some kind of box. But without knowing how to properly use all this good, such a set will be of little use in case of an emergency. Considering all this, the American company 19Labs has released a new "smart" first aid kit, called Gale.

This is a very stylish-looking box with a set of compartments in it containing various medical supplies, has a touchscreen display on the back of the lid, which allows you to access instructions explaining how to perform various medical procedures. They relate to cuts, burns, bruises, fractures and many other unpleasant situations that can happen to any person at home. The kit also includes various devices, such as a thermometer and pulse oximeter, a number of other medical devices can be ordered additionally.

If the instructions that are "embedded" in this set are not enough, Gale can connect the user via video link with a remote medical specialist who can provide personal assistance in more complex cases. Moreover, if a dangerous situation arises, family members or, say, medical specialists observing the patient can be informed about it. All this is done through the AT&T mobile network, which means that you can even take such a set with you on the road and everything will work where there is coverage of this mobile operator. Moreover, to transport the container, a handle is built into it, which is then removed inside the case when the container is placed on the table.

If any of the medicines or funds included in the kit run out, you can order their delivery directly through the touch screen interface by simply pointing your finger at the desired positions. Everything selected will be delivered by mail.

Unfortunately, all this beauty is available only to residents of the United States, and the functionality of this kit decreases dramatically if it is used in another country, for example, in Russia.
