Recently, the largest pornographic resource Pornhub launched its own educational center – Pornhub Sexual Wellness Center. Within the framework of the project, it is planned to give recommendations to those who are interested in issues of safe sex and satisfaction with sexual life. There will also be tips specifically for those who want to diversify what is happening in the bedroom.

The announced range of topics is quite wide: from reproductive health and sexually transmitted diseases to sexuality and relationship building.

The head of the project, as reported in the official statement of the company, will be Laurie Betito, a clinical psychologist specializing in sexuality issues.

In a promo video dedicated to the launch of the new center, Betito says that she would like people - when it comes to sex and relationships – to "return to reality."

Visitors to the site can send questions to Betito, and she – together with colleagues – promises to publish posts with answers once a week, for example, with tips on online dating, safe sex and "studying obscene aspects of your sexuality."

The topic of one of the already published posts is "group sex for dummies". Another piece explains why women don't have to avoid sex during menstruation.

Corey Price, vice president of Pornhub, said that the company would like to provide its 70 million daily audience with reliable information and advice related to sex: "We understand the importance of spreading information about sexual health, raising awareness of people in general. And we see an opportunity to achieve these goals by making the opinions of leading experts and doctors available to the general public. Think of us as a "one-stop shop" working around the clock to satisfy your need for comprehensive information about sexually transmitted diseases, safe sex, novelties in the sex toy industry and ways to get "sex friends".

Unfortunately, not all Russian Internet users will be able to benefit from the recommendations of American sexologists and doctors. And various opinions about the dangers of pornography, as it turns out, have a rather shaky scientific basis.
