Five of the body's danger signals that many people miss

Irina Baranova, candidate of medical sciences, therapist, told about a common problem that is often "hidden" under different masks. People start to treat the heart, fight depression, osteochondrosis and other ailments, but it does not get easier. We are talking about hypothyroidism or lack of thyroid hormones in the body.

According to Irina Baranova, there are five alarm bells that signal hypothyroidism.

The first problem is severe hair loss. The fact is that in hypothyroidism suffers secretion of hydrochloric acid. Proteins are not fully digested, which leads to a lack of amino acids. The latter are necessary for the synthesis of keratin. "Keratin, of which hair and nails are composed, is also a protein," - specified the specialist.

Illness, which often hides lethargy, apathy, absent-mindedness, nervousness, drowsiness, cognitive impairment, as well as panic attacks, complaints of which are steadily increasing among patients, also often warns of hypothyroidism. In addition, the above symptoms may also indicate anemia.

"Hypothyroidism and anemia always go hand in hand. Where there is anemia, look for hypothyroidism," warned the GP.

Other telltale signs that should not be tolerated are weight that does not go away (despite food restrictions and sufficient exercise) and decreased or absent libido.

Many patients with hypothyroidism note that they are "always cold". Cold hands and feet at a comfortable temperature for most people indicate poor microcirculation in the skin. "The cause is a decrease in blood pressure, which is often seen in hypothyroidism," says the specialist.

With low blood pressure and tachycardia, it is worth seriously thinking about possible hypothyroidism.

"The body, which is most often still in anemia, is still trying to provide oxygen to the tissues, so the heart rate increases," - specified the doctor, adding that and "slowing of the heart rhythm in hypothyroidism is not uncommon."

Irina Baranova concluded that replenishing deficiencies, physical activity (adequate), and maintaining the thyroid gland - this is the place to start to restore health and "libido for life".
