Doctor names two oils that are worse than butter for the heart and pancreas

Many people have recently abandoned the usual butter in favor of ghee and clarified butter. Candidate of Medical Sciences, gastroenterologist, hepatologist Sergei Vyalov explained what should be taken into account when giving preference to such products.

As the specialist notes, ghee oil and ghee are animal fats that are obtained from dairy raw materials. There is a difference between them, which lies in the method of obtaining the product. If ghee butter is obtained by heating and purifying cream, ghee is obtained by heating and melting cream and butter. It is important to realize that any butter loses some of its liquid and becomes more concentrated when heated. What comes out as a result?

"While regular butter contains 21 mg of cholesterol in 100 g, clarified butter and ghee contain 25 mg of cholesterol. There are also more harmful saturated fatty acids," warned Sergei Vyalov.

He added that at the same time the amount of useful calcium, phosphorus and potassium decreases.

Ghee and ghee give us more harm, which is especially bad for the liver, heart, pancreas, the doctor believes.

He also reviewed condensed milk, a product that is made by thickening ordinary cow's milk. On the one hand, condensed milk contains more fat and sugar than regular milk. But there are benefits to the sweet product.

"Condensed milk gives us more benefits, calcium, energy than regular milk," concluded the doctor.

The main thing is to know the measure, spoiling yourself with this or that product.

Earlier doctor Ekaterina Volkova reminded that fats are an important component that is necessary for the construction of body cells and hormones. However, margarine, palm oil, modified vegetable fat - these are the products that are better to remove from the diet. They are all commonly found in most industrial sweets, chips, fast food, and sausages.
