Doctors have named two mistakes in the morning that make your blood thicker

If there is not enough protein in the diet, the blood becomes thicker. And this is associated with a higher risk of varicose veins, thrombophlebitis, angina, heart attack and other ailments. This was warned by the doctor-toxicologist Mikhail Kutushov.
According to the expert, the diet should necessarily be lean varieties of meat (optimal - poultry and turkey), sea fish, dairy products and eggs.

Protein is better to include in every meal, in turn reminded Doctor of Medical Sciences, endocrinologist Zuhra Pavlova. That is, the habit of eating one porridge in the morning - will not benefit. It is recommended to add to the dish, for example, one boiled egg.

It is better to remove the porridge altogether. Two of the simplest and most useful options - scrambled eggs and a piece of whole-grain bread, as well as scrambled eggs (or omelet) with vegetables, better cooked in a multicooker or sauté pan without oil, advised Zuhra Pavlova.

The doctor specified that it is worth paying special attention to the morning meal. Breakfast in principle should not be skipped.

"The worst thing is if you skip breakfast - the most important meal. In the morning, the activity of the adrenal glands and the gastrointestinal tract is very high, and at this point you should definitely eat a dense meal, and both proteins and carbohydrates," explained the endocrinologist.

Another common mistake is not to drink plain water in the morning. Some people drink coffee after brushing their teeth, do not eat breakfast and eat only closer to lunch. Again, not everyone remembers about water during the day.

However, when waking up, a person is in a state that is called in medicine hypovolemia (a decrease in the volume of circulating blood).

"That is, there is a lack of water. And it is usually the most significant in a day. And at this point the heart needs to pump very thick blood," - specified the expert, adding that it is recommended to drink a glass of warm water (about 40-45 degrees) in the morning on an empty stomach.

It should be remembered that one of the main provocateurs of thick blood is sugar. Because of him, glucose levels rise and the production of lipid compounds.

"This increases blood viscosity, increases the risk of thrombosis," - summarized Mikhail Kutushov.
