An international symposium on biotechnologies has begun in the Altai Territory

Today, on September 15, the international biotechnological symposium Bio-Asia, Altai-2015 started in Barnaul, the press service of the administration of the Altai Territory reports.
The event will be attended by scientists from Russia, the USA, China, Japan, New Zealand, Israel, Kazakhstan and other countries.
At 11 o'clock in one of the buildings of the Altai State University (AltSU) (66 Dimitrova St.), the exposition of the exhibition of achievements in the field of biotechnology will begin. The opening of the symposium will take place at 13 o'clock, after which the plenary session will begin.
The work of the sections will begin on September 16. They will be held at the universities of Barnaul. The section "Biomedicine and bioengineering at the present stage" will work in AltSU (Lenin Ave., 61), in Altai State Technical University (Lenin Ave., 46) – "Industrial and food biotechnology in the XXI century", in Altai State Agrarian University (Krasnoarmeysky Ave., 98) – "Agricultural, forestry and environmental protection biotechnology".
On September 17, a seminar of the Russian-American Anticancer Center "Biotechnology: molecular aspects of early diagnosis and therapy of oncological diseases" will be held at AltSU (66 Dimitrova St.), the Altai State Technical University and Altai State Agrarian University will continue the work of the section.
Also, as the press service notes, since September 14, a youth biotechnology school "Recombinant antibodies and vaccines" has been working at AltSU as part of the Bio-Asia, Altai-2015 symposium.

The International Biotechnological Symposium Bio-Asia, Altai-2015 is included in the consolidated plan of participation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia in exhibition and congress events held in the country and abroad this year. The symposium is held with the participation of Altai State University, Altai State Technical University, Altai State Agrarian University, Altai State Medical University, Mikhail Lisavenko Research Institute of Horticulture of Siberia, Siberian Research Institute of Cheese Making, University of the American State of Arizona, Institute of Chemical Biology and Fundamental Medicine of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, State Scientific Center Virology and Biotechnology "Vector", the Altai branch of the Blokhin Russian Cancer Research Center and the Altai Cancer Center.
