Do not leave a fortune-teller (who does not pay taxes) alive

The State Duma was recommended to ban advertising of healing and witchcraftCopper news
The State Duma Committee on Economic Policy and Entrepreneurship proposed banning the advertising of occult and mystical services, as well as limiting the advertising of healing.

This is reported by Interfax.

One of the initiators of the bill, the deputy of the United Russia party Viktor Zvagelsky, pointed out that a significant amount of advertising of magicians, psychics and other persons who "cause moral and physical harm to citizens" is presented in the media. In his opinion, due to the imperfection of legislation, "fraudsters and charlatans act openly and with impunity."

Zvagelsky also noted that persons engaged in such activities cause damage not only to citizens, but also to the country, since they evade taxes.

As part of the bill, it is proposed to ban advertising of witchcraft, magic, shamanism, divination, as well as persons who provide these services. An exception can be made only for healers who have a diploma issued in accordance with article 57 of the Russian legislation on the protection of citizens' health.
