Free access to the archives of the RAS journals
The Russian Academy of Sciences and the publishing house "Nauka" decided to open free access to the archives of the journals of the Russian Academy of Sciences, including the issues of journals for 2017, the release of which was carried out by Nauka under a contract with the Russian Academy of Sciences. Free access to electronic versions of RAS journals will be provided on the platform Elibrary.ru and Libnauka.ru (electronic library of the publishing house "Nauka").
The conditions and mode of access to current issues of RAS journals will be determined later by the Russian Academy of Sciences and the winning company of the competition/electronic auction for the provision of services for the publication of RAS journals in 2018.
"We express confidence that the possibility of access to the journals of the Russian Academy of Sciences will contribute to the growth of the effectiveness of Russian scientists, scientific organizations, federal and research universities, the promotion of the results of domestic scientific research and their integration into the global information space," writes Vice President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician Alexey Khokhlov in his blog. – The journals of the Russian Academy of Sciences, according to the scientific community, readers and authors, are among the best in Russia, most of them are indexed in the most authoritative international bibliographic database Web of Science and have an international impact factor and the JCR (Journal Citation Report) citation index."
