Information technologies for young scientists
The international School of young scientists "Bioinformatics and Systems Biology" has opened in Novosibirsk
Today, the 8th International School of Young Scientists "Bioinformatics and Systems Biology" has opened at the Institute of Cytology and Genetics of SB RAS.
The International School of Young Scientists is held annually at the Institute of Cytology and Genetics SB RAS. Its main task is to teach the younger generation the latest progressive methods related to the use of information technologies in the biological sciences. In 2016, a fairly large number of participants were announced. The presence of well-known foreign specialists is expected.
Classes at the school will last from August 22 to 25. Three main areas will be presented: genomics and evolutionary biology; structural biology and molecular dynamics; analysis of molecular genetic systems. The program includes lectures by leading experts, as well as teamwork of young scientists on short scientific projects followed by a presentation of the results.
