Nanotechnology: any questions?

Nanoeducation On February 10, a course of open lectures on the fundamentals and prospects of nanotechnology began at Moscow State University.

In addition, registration is underway for the All-Russian Internet Olympiad in Nanotechnology, the winners of which will receive benefits upon admission to universities. What will nanotechnology education give Russia, what are its prospects and "pitfalls"? Are there plans to create specialized departments and faculties in universities and where can their nano-graduates be in demand?

To these questions, as well as to questions concerning the comparison of the Olympiad system of admission to universities and the Unified State Exam system to readers of the "Tape.<url>" will be answered by the Dean of the Faculty of Materials Sciences, Head of the Department of Inorganic Chemistry of the Chemical Faculty of Moscow State University, one of the organizers of the Nanotechnology Society of Russia, Academician Yuri Dmitrievich Tretyakov.

The approximate date of publication of the responses is February 17.
