A new version of the "anti-cancer" ReMISSION game has been released

Copper newsThe American non–profit company HopeLab has released a new – the second - version of the "anti-cancer" ReMISSION game, according to Medgadget (ReMISSION 2 Online Cancer Fighting Video Game).

The idea of creating a video game, according to the plot of which you can kill tumor cells in various ways, originated with its developers seven years ago. It is designed to provide psychological assistance to young people suffering from oncological diseases – the category of cancer patients who have a high risk of an unfavorable outcome.

"Remission2 helps children and young people fight for their lives. The games are based on the results of scientific research and help young patients feel that they can overcome the disease, push them to comply with the requirements of doctors. All games are developed in collaboration with doctors and young cancer patients," the press release says.

According to the authors of the project, in the game you can experience countless ways to fight cancer cells: shoot them with various weapons, irradiate the tumor, penetrate mutated cells with the help of a "Trojan horse" with medicine and fight them using nanobots. The new version consists of six games that allow you to fight different types of cancer.
