RUSNANO delegation flies to Texas

Today, a delegation of the Russian Nanotechnology Corporation (RUSNANO) headed by CEO Anatoly Chubais arrives on a working visit to Houston, Texas, where he will take part in the Nanotech 2009 conference.

This event is the central event in the field of nanotechnology on the American continent. It is expected that more than 4,000 representatives of companies and research centers will take part in its work this year.

The purpose of the RUSNANO delegation's trip to the Nanotech 2009 conference is to get acquainted with the experience of building American institutes of innovative development and search for potential partners. In addition, the Corporation will take part in the exhibition held as part of Nanotech 2009. Projects that have already been approved for financing will be presented at the RUSNANO stand.

This country is a world leader in the field of nanotechnology and one of the key partners of the corporation. To date, the United States ranks first in terms of the number of foreign applications submitted to RUSNANO.

During the visit to the United States, the RUSNANO delegation will also visit Stanford University, which historically owned the idea of creating a high–tech zone - Silicon Valley. Here the representatives will get acquainted with the Center of Integrated Systems and laboratories of the University.

Here, in Silicon Valley, Anatoly Chubais will hold talks with the leadership of the world's largest high-tech companies Intel, Hewlett-Packard, etc., as well as a meeting with members of the American Business Association of Russian-speaking Professionals (AmBAR).
