St. Petersburg Scientific Forum
The 6th Open Scientific Forum opened in St. Petersburg
The Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences is hosting the St. Petersburg Scientific Forum for the sixth time. Within the framework of the current meeting, lectures and round tables will be held on the topic "New technologies for the new economy of Russia". Within the framework of the forum, four Nobel laureates of different years are scheduled to speak: Russian physicist academician Zhores Alferov and American molecular biologists Roger Kornberg, Thomas Steitz, Stanley Prusiner.
At the opening of the forum, the topic of the reform of the Russian Academy of Sciences was already raised. Zhores Alferov said that despite the fact that the law was adopted without proper discussion, Russian science will continue to do everything possible to help the development of the country.
