Cloning stars: the DNA collection is being replenished

Ask all questions personally to Dr. Zuk and an anonymous writer from the Canadian media portal Russian Week that published this note. And we bought for how much, and we sell for so much.

A whole Lennon from a rotten tooth

It would probably be hard to imagine John Lennon walking down a London street today, however, according to the Canadian dentist, this possibility cannot be ruled out in any way.

Dr. Michael Zook from Alberta bought a tooth at auction two years ago, torn out by his colleague from the jaw of the creator of the legendary Beatles band, and now he has decided to cooperate with American scientists to try to extract Lennon's DNA from a pretty damaged chewing tooth that he inherited.

Zuk bought a tooth for $32,000 and sent it to scientists from the University of Pennsylvania (Pen State) with the hope that they would be able to determine the genetic code of the musician killed in 1980.

The dentist is sure that buying Lennon's tooth is the best investment in his entire life and believes that since it was possible to clone a sheep and a mammoth (so in the text – VM), the same can be done with a person.

"There may be an inscription carved on my tombstone that this man brought one of the greatest musicians back to the world," says the Canadian dentist.

By the way, he collects any "physiological" material that may contain the DNA of celebrities. He already has the DNA of Marilyn Monroe, Justin Bieber and Paul McCartney.

The dentist's sister Kirsten Zook recently created a sculpture in which she combined the DNA of Lennon and McCartney, calling her work "McLennon".

"Walt Disney bequeathed to freeze his head, and, by the way, by cloning themselves, the great ones could live forever," says the Alberta doctor. "For example, Bill Gates, who has a lot of money: he could come back to life if he wanted to. Rather, he will return to us through his own clone than by freezing his own head," says Zuk.

The tooth of the Beatle was given by Lennon to his maid Dot Jarlett at one time, and then became the property of Alan McGee, the creator of the Creation Records music studio. McGee sold the tooth and several other memorabilia through Omega Auctions.

Since then, the "Lennon piece" has managed to inspire designers to create a whole line of jewelry, was shown on TV and even became the subject of attention of cinematographers who created a tape about the DNA of celebrities.
