The 18th Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies "Archimedes"

The XVIII Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies "Archimedes" will be held from April 2 to 5, 2015 in Moscow, in Pavilion No. 4 of the Sokolniki Convention and Exhibition Center.

The previous Archimedes 2014 Salon was attended by representatives from 42 regions of the Russian Federation and inventors from 16 countries: Great Britain, Taiwan, Germany, Malaysia, Korea, Ecuador, Serbia, Croatia, Romania, Qatar, Bahrain, Kazakhstan, Poland, Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus. More than 750 projects from various fields of science and technology took part in the competitions of the Archimedes Salon, which were presented by 529 participants of the Salon.

Most of the inventions of the Salon "Archimedes-2014" were presented in the following classes:

• medicine and medical equipment;
• radio, television and communications;
• safety, human protection and rescue, aerospace industry, construction, building materials, general engineering.

At the Archimedes-2014 Salon, agreements were concluded and protocols of intent were signed for the implementation of the results of intellectual activity in the amount of 2.53 billion rubles.

This fact undoubtedly speaks about the mutually beneficial cooperation of inventors, developers, researchers on the one hand, and industrialists and venture investors on the other.

The result of this interaction is to provide researchers and inventors with a unique opportunity to attract the necessary investments into their developments, and subsequently to implement them with a commercial effect.

The Salon's events are traditionally covered by central, regional and foreign mass media.

During the Salon there is an International conference on the Legal Protection of Intellectual Property results organized by Rospatent, events of the International University of the Inventor: seminars, round tables; presentations of national delegations and unique projects that make the atmosphere of the Archimedes Salon rich and businesslike.

For the most interesting and promising exhibits in industrial use, evaluated by an International jury, participants are awarded gold, silver, bronze medals of the Salon, Diplomas of ministries and departments, including the Ministry of Defense, Rospatent, the Government of Moscow, VOIR, medals and prizes, including monetary ones, from Russian and international innovative organizations, Invention Salons, sponsors of the Salon. For the best inventions, the organizers established the Grand Prix – "Golden Archimedes".
