Intellectual property in the XXI century
In order to properly ensure the modernization and technological renewal of the domestic economy carried out in the Russian Federation with the help of the most valuable and legally protected results of intellectual activity, using the knowledge and professional skills of highly qualified specialists in the field of management and commercialization of intellectual property, considering the results of intellectual activity (intellectual property) As a complex, multifunctional, intellectual product with scientific, technical, economic and legal content, preparations have now begun for the events of the All-Russian Forum "Intellectual Property – XXI Century", held in Moscow in April 2011 under the auspices and with the direct support of the World Intellectual Property Organization.
The organizers of the forum "Intellectual Property – XXI Century" are: the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademarks, the World Intellectual Property Organization, The Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property, the Foundation for the Support and Development of Education, Creativity, Culture, the Russian Copyright Society, the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Soyuzpatent LLC, Consultant Plus Company, the Cultural Heritage Preservation Fund, Biblio-Globus TD.
The Forum is held under the auspices of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) under the motto "Planning for the future".
Within the framework of the organized events of the Forum, it is planned to hold discussions on the formation, protection and turnover of intellectual property in the Russian Federation, the need to increase the share of intellectual assets, the development of technology commercialization processes, the need to actively combat counterfeit products, create conditions for the harmonious development of the system of training specialized personnel. It is planned to hold presentations of the most interesting domestic and foreign projects, as well as meetings with well-known scientists, politicians, creative intelligentsia, representatives of the business community.
Vladimir Borisovich Isakov, Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, was approved as the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Forum, Nina Soldatova, senior expert of the Department for Legislation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, is the Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee.
The Forum is held under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. Participation in all events of the Forum for specialists and experts is free of charge.
