The Forum will be attended by representatives of the executive and legislative authorities of the Russian Federation, municipal and territorial entities, public organizations, heads of health authorities, research institutes, higher educational institutions, chief physicians of medical and preventive institutions, chief specialists, practitioners.
Issues discussed on the Forum:• Results and prospects of consolidation of representatives of medicine, legislative and executive authorities and structures of civil society for effective solution of tasks of modernization of health care;
• Implementation of demographic policy and prevention of premature mortality from tobacco smoking, alcoholism and drug addiction;
• Analysis of promising directions for the development of domestic healthcare and the results of the introduction into practical medicine of optimal organizational and methodological forms, methods and high-tech medical care designed to improve the quality of life of patients with various nosological forms of diseases;
• Problems of quality of life and new approaches to the organization of medical and social care for patients with progressive forms of chronic diseases, relevance and prospects for the integration of palliative medicine into the healthcare system;
• Analysis of the activities of the municipal health care system, ways to improve its efficiency;
• Problems of diagnostics and drug therapy in clinical medicine and its pharmaco-economic aspects from the perspective of scientifically based practice.

Further work of the III All–Russian Medical Forum "Medicine for Quality of Life" will continue according to the following schedule: Novosibirsk – September 9-10; Khabarovsk – September 24-25; Yekaterinburg - October 7-8; St. Petersburg – October 29-30; Nizhny Novgorod – November 11-12; Rostov-on-Don – November 26-27.
Participants must have a passport with them to enter the Moscow Government building.
