From October 19 to 21, the IX International Forum of Innovative Development "Open Innovations" (18+) – the main event of the country in the field of technological entrepreneurship will take place in the Skolkovo Technopark.

The theme of the forum in 2020 is "New Digital Normal. Are we ready for a changed world?". The forum participants will discuss the impact of social and economic isolation during the pandemic on the development of technologies in the post-covid world, as well as the emergence of new scenarios and platforms for interaction between business, governments and society on a global scale.

The topics of all the days of the forum – Humancentric Society (October 19), Survival Economy (October 20) and Futuristic Technology (October 21) are connected with modern trends and challenges facing humanity today.

"On the first day, we will discuss how the interaction environment and the way of life of people have changed thanks to technology, what skills a person acquires in the process of transition to the digital space. The second day will be devoted to the reaction to the rapid curtailment of economic ties at the beginning of the pandemic, ways to adapt to new business conditions, strengths and weaknesses of various models of economic management. On the third day, we will figure out how technological priorities and trends have changed this year, which technologies will help to adapt to the new reality," said Ekaterina Inozemtseva, CEO of Skolkovo Forum.

Leading experts and businessmen, investors and technology entrepreneurs, scientists and students, representatives of government and global corporations traditionally take part in "Open Innovations". Among the key speakers are Michael Kremer, winner of the 2019 Alfred Nobel Prize in Economics, Olaf Koch, Chairman of the Management Board of Metro AG, Philip Rogge, President of Microsoft in Central and Eastern Europe, Jeroen Tas, Chief Innovation and Strategy Officer of Royal Philips, Ilya Alekseev, CEO of Spotify in Russia and the CIS, and others.

Due to the remaining restrictions, in 2020 the forum will be held in an unusual format that will combine traditional and digital event technologies. Foreign speakers will join the discussions at the Skolkovo venues via video link. The broadcast from each hall will be carried out not only on the forum website, but also on partner websites.

The Startup Expo exhibition within the framework of "Open Innovations" will present high-tech ideas and developments created by startups with the support of Russian development institutes. Like the business program, the exposition will work offline and online at the same time. The co-organizers and major partners of the forum will show their achievements in the Skolkovo Technopark. Thematic excursions and the opportunity to communicate with exhibitors in a convenient way will be organized for visitors of the online exhibition.

A press center will work for media representatives at the forum site.
