The VIII annual set of events in the field of biopharmaceutics and biotechnology OpenBio will be held from 05 to 08 October 2021 in the Koltsovo science city, the center of the biopharmaceutical cluster of the Novosibirsk region.
OpenBio is an industry–specific set of events dedicated to business development in the field of life sciences.
The Business Forum is a series of round tables and expert discussions where representatives of business, science, government and infrastructure will discuss industry development priorities, intellectual capital management issues, opportunities for the development of international business cooperation and megasience projects.
Target audience:
- industry business from the field of biopharmaceuticals, diagnostics, biotechnologies for the food and cosmetics industry, agriculture, veterinary medicine, ecology, as well as industrial biotechnologies and equipment;

The platform has been held annually since 2014 and has established itself as a place for effective dialogue between business, science and government. Participants note the high concentration of specialized enterprises and scientific institutions, opportunities for finding partners and contractors, a high level of experts and an inspiring atmosphere.
In 2020, more than 2,500 guests (more than 2,000 of them online) from 33 regions of Russia, as well as representatives of manufacturing enterprises and technology centers from 12 countries, more than 300 industry experts became OpenBio participants.
Also in 2020, the annual Siberian Venture Fair was held within the framework of OpenBio, dedicated to the selection of projects in the field of biotechnology, biopharmaceuticals and related industries. More than 20 projects have passed the expert examination of the forum and presented their developments to leading industry specialists.
