One of the most important tasks of the development of the national economy of the Russian Federation is to increase the economic effect of investments in science and education, in particular, the growth of returns from the commercialization of scientific developments created by universities.

How to build an effective model of innovation infrastructure on the basis of a university, allowing to create conditions for the transition to a new technological way, necessary both for the development of universities and for the state as a whole? Compliance with what conditions will allow the innovation infrastructure to ensure the continuity of the scientific and production chain - from the generation of ideas, the creation of tools to the transfer of ideas into technology and a new product with market entry? How to establish the interaction of all interested participants within the framework of the innovation ecosystem 4I, which unites researchers, innovators, investors and industry? Participants of the II Congress "Innovative Practice: Science plus Business" will answer these and other questions.

The Congress "Innovative Practice: Science plus Business" (hereinafter referred to as the Congress) is intended to be a logical continuation of the 2014 Congress. On the agenda of the event is the discussion and solution of practical problems of the functioning of innovative ecosystems.

Top officials of large Russian corporations, government agencies, universities, research institutes, development funds, investment companies, representatives of high-tech Russian companies and enterprises engaged in the fields of energy, electronics, oil and gas production, processing, medicine, new materials, space research, biophysics, biomedicine and others are invited to participate in the event.

Among the speakers of the plenary session of the Congress are Alexander Dyukov, Chairman of the Management Board, CEO of Gazprom Neft, Sergey Kiriyenko, CEO of Rosatom, Sergey Kalugin, President of Rostelecom, Igor Komarov, CEO of ROSCOSMOS, Boris Kovalchuk, Chairman of the Management Board of Inter RAO, Dmitry Konov, Chairman of the Management Board, General Director of SIBUR LLC, Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Viktor Sadovnichy, Rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Academician, Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government on Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations, Peter Fradkov, General Director, Member of the Board of Directors of JSC "Russian Export Center", Andrey Fursenko, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Russian Science Foundation and others. Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), will moderate the plenary session of the Congress.

Various events of the Congress – plenary and industry sessions, foresight sessions, as well as workshops and case studies - will allow participants to take a broad look at the issues of effective functioning of innovation infrastructure, as well as through an intensive exchange of opinions, knowledge and experience to present practical tools for effective interaction of researchers, industry, investors and innovators to stimulate the generation of new competitive on a global scale of technologies, their commercialization and introduction into industrial production.

An exhibition of projects in the following areas will be held throughout the Congress: information technologies, biomedical technologies, bionanosystems and pharmaceuticals, technologies for the exploration and industrial use of oil and gas raw materials, technologies for the rational use of natural resources, space research, nanotechnology and new materials, special-purpose technologies and machine engineering, energy saving technologies and efficient energy storage.

The II Congress "Innovative Practice: Science plus Business" thus continues the tradition of annual meetings of participants in the innovation process to develop joint approaches to solving the problems of the development of the innovation ecosystem, the formation of professional standards of work and the search for new promising ideas for the development of the domestic economy.

Applications for accreditation are accepted from October 12 to October 16, 2015 inclusive. The deadline for consideration of applications is from October 16 to October 20, 2015.
