Science of the Future – 2014
Leading scientists will share their research experience
at the international scientific and technical conference "Science of the Future"
As part of the conference, the experience and results of scientific research conducted under the guidance of leading world scientists in Russian universities and scientific organizations will be presented.
The conference will become a kind of platform for the establishment of information exchange of the scientific community, the development of international cooperation, the integration of Russia into the world scientific environment. Leading scientists will share the experience of research conducted with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, as well as talk about the results of their work.
The conference will be attended, among others, by leading scientists implementing projects within the framework of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 220 dated April 9, 2010 "On measures to attract leading scientists to Russian educational institutions of higher professional education".
More than 100 leading Russian and foreign scientists, including Nobel Prize and Fields Prize laureates, have already confirmed their participation in the event. Within the framework of the conference, it is planned to hold plenary sessions, work on thematic sections, poster presentations, as well as readings by leading scientists of popular science lectures at universities and specialized schools in St. Petersburg. A cultural program is provided.
The work at the conference will be carried out in the following sections:

- Computer technology;
- Mechanics. Mechanical engineering. Energy;
- Physics. Nanotechnology. Technologies of materials. Space;
- Earth Sciences;
- Chemistry;
- Humanities.
The event will include an All-Russian youth scientific and technical conference and an exhibition of innovative projects of young scientists participating in scientific research conducted under the guidance of leading world scientists.
Participants will be able to present their developments at the exhibition of innovative projects, make presentations at a thematic or poster session, take part in scientific seminars, listen to lectures by leading world scientists, get acquainted with the leading laboratories created in St. Petersburg as part of the implementation of Resolution No. 220, communicate with world experts, representatives of public authorities.
Following the results of the conference, it is planned to publish a collection of abstracts in publications indexed in Russian and international scientific databases.
