Address: Kiev, Khreshchatyk str., 2The Association "Private Investors of Ukraine" presents the Second Annual Forum of Private Investors of Ukraine, which will be held on May 21 in Kiev, at the Ukrainian House.
Forum organizer: Association "Private Investors of Ukraine" (www.uaban.org ) is the largest association of private investors in Ukraine. ACIU is a full member of the European Business Angel Network (EBAN).
Direct private investment and venture capital is one of the most dynamically developing sectors of the capital market in Europe and the CIS countries, which has a significant impact on the development of the economy, small and medium–sized businesses in most countries of the world.
The purpose of the forum: development and implementation of investment and innovation potential of Ukraine, discussion of issues of state support for private investment and innovation in Ukraine and the European Union, exchange of practical investment experience, presentation of Ukrainian investment projects to a wide audience of potential investors in Ukraine and abroad.
The forum will be held with the support of professional associations: Ukrainian Investment Business Association, Association of Ukrainian Banks, League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine, Ukrainian Construction Association, European Business Angel Network (EBAN).
Representatives of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the European Association of Business Angels (EBAN), the State Agency for Investment and Innovation, the National Institute for Strategic Studies, the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Association of Investment Business (UAIB), the Ukrainian Scientific and Technological Center, the Agency for Economic Development of Regions (St. Petersburg) are invited to participate in the Forum with reports, a number of large Ukrainian and foreign companies financing projects in the scientific and technological sphere.
Presentations of innovative projects and technologies, as well as investment projects supported by state regional programs will be organized within the framework of the forum. The second issue of the catalog of investment projects of Ukraine will be presented to the forum participants.
To participate in the Forum are invited:• Private and corporate investors, venture funds, credit and financial institutions, representatives of government agencies and professional associations.
• Small innovative enterprises and entrepreneurs who need financing at the early stages of projects that can provide a significant economic effect and high profitability.
Applications from applicants for financing who are interested in presenting their projects during the forum, or the inclusion of the project in the catalog of investment projects of Ukraine, are accepted until April 21, 2008.Registration forms for forum participants and applications for funding applicants can be filled out on the forum's website.
