VI Congress of the Russian Society of Medical Geneticists
The VI Congress of the Russian Society of Medical Geneticists (ROMG) will be held in Rostov-on-Don from May 15 to May 18, 2010 on the basis of the Rostov State Medical University.
The program of the congress will include plenary sessions, symposiums, as well as an exhibition of poster messages. Speakers at the plenary sessions will be invited by the Organizing Committee of the Congress. The speakers of the symposium sessions will be selected by the Organizing Committee of the Congress based on the results of the competition of abstracts sent to the congress. All theses that have received a positive review will be published in the journal "Medical Genetics", which is included in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission.

3. cytogenetics and chromosomal diseases;
4. reproductive genetics;
5. prenatal diagnosis;

10. hereditary metabolic diseases;
11. genetics of quantitative signs and widespread diseases;
12. human population genetics and epidemiology of hereditary diseases;
13. human ecological genetics;
14. genotoxicology;
15. stem cell genetics;
16. treatment and rehabilitation of hereditary diseases, including gene therapy;
17. medical and genetic counseling; ethical problems of medical genetics;
18. Genetic Service of Russia; genetic education.
