BOARDING HOUSE OF LOMONOSOV MOSCOW STATE UNIVERSITY "BUREVESTNIK-2", TUAPSE.From September 15 to 26, 2008, the XX Symposium "Modern Chemical Physics" will be held at the boarding house of the Lomonosov Moscow State University "Burevestnik-2", Tuapse.
The Symposium program includes a series of lectures, reports, discussions, seminars and poster sessions, summing up the results of the competitions announced by the organizing committee.
The 1st Youth School-Conference "Physics and Chemistry of nanoclusters, nanostructures and nanomaterials" will be held within the framework of the Symposium.
Participants are expected to receive: new scientific knowledge, interesting informative discussions, communication with specialists in the relevant field, a good mood and a velvet season in a beautiful resort town in the south of Russia.
SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM OF THE SYMPOSIUMThe scientific program will be based on lectures, reports and poster sessions in the following areas of modern chemical physics:
- elementary processes;
- photochemistry and radiation chemistry;
- chemical radio spectroscopy;
- homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis;
- kinetics and dynamics of chemical reactions;
- chemical physics of the surface;
- nanochemistry, nanophysics and nanotechnology;
- quantum chemistry;
- high molecular weight compounds
- biochemical physics
- nanobiology
THE COMPETITION PROGRAM OF THE SYMPOSIUMThe organizing Committee of the symposium holds a series of competitions:
for the best scientific work
The first prize is 12,000 rubles .
The second prize is 8,000 rubles .
The third prize is 5,000 rubles .
for the best applied research with prospects for implementation into the economy(to participate in this competition, along with a description of the research, you must attach a brief description of the future application (description of the product, service), a description of the market and commercialization mechanisms)
The first prize is 20,000 rubles .
The second prize is 10,000 rubles .
The third prize is 8,000 rubles .
for the best work of young scientistsThe first prize is 12,000 rubles .
Two second prizes – 6 000 rubles each .
Three thirds – 4,000 rubles each .
