Acceptance of works for the contest "Science is beautiful!" continues

The contest "Science is beautiful!", announced by the publication "Science and Technology of Russia" (STRF.ru ), is gaining momentum. The geography of the competition is reaching the all–Russian level - we have covered the Central Region, Siberia and the Far East. The participants take a very responsible approach to the presentation of their works – they prepare their description, come up with original names and various options for the layout of objects to convey the meaning inherent in them.

The greatest interest on the part of the contest participants was shown in the nomination "The world hidden from our eyes", more than thirty works are presented here, including snow crystals, and photographs of ice taken in the conditions of polarized light of the laboratory, and crystal turbulence and much more. I would like to note that the scientific theme of the competition did not become a barrier for creative and versatile people – in addition to researchers, teachers, masters and postgraduates, a professional photographer and a schoolboy submitted works.

We invite everyone to participate!

Detailed information is available in the first information message and on the website www.strf.ru .
