Competition for young scientists for the gold medal and prize
in the field of natural sciences for 2015

The Alferov Foundation for Education and Science Support announces a competition for the gold medal and the Alferov Foundation Award for the best research work in the field of natural sciences for young scientists (up to 33 years old) for 2015 in the nomination "Nanotechnology for Physiology and Medicine"

The nomination includes specialties of fundamental and applied research in the field of nanotechnology application for physiology and medicine.

The right to nominate candidates from the Russian Federation for the award is granted:

• to the President of the Foundation;
• full members (academicians), corresponding members and foreign members of the Russian Academy of Sciences;
• heads of departments of higher educational institutions selected by the Board of the Foundation, whose specialty corresponds to the announced nomination;
• heads of departments, laboratories and sectors of research institutes and higher educational institutions selected by the Board of the Foundation, whose specialty corresponds to the announced nomination;
• to the laureates of the award of previous years, whose specialty corresponds to the announced nomination;
• other scientists who received a special invitation from the President of the Foundation.

The regulations on the award and the list of documents for nomination for the competition are available on the Foundation's website.

The documents for the contest are sent no later than August 1, 2015 with the note "For the 2015 contest" to:

The author(s) of the work, awarded the prize of the Alferov Foundation, receives a gold medal and a prize of 150,000 rubles.
