Applications for the Russian Youth Nanotechnology Award have been announced

The Russian Youth Award in the field of nanoindustry, which is awarded to young innovators under 35 for the best developments in the field of nanotechnology, announces the acceptance of applications. This year, the conditions and regulations of the award have been changed, in particular, the prize fund has been increased and three winners will be selected.

In 2016, the award will be held for the eighth time. Over the past time, more than 250 applications of young entrepreneurs in the field of nanotechnology have been submitted to the competition. Over the years, the award has been awarded to the creators of spectroscopes, hardness meters, anesthesia devices, bandages, wound healing, as well as for many other developments.

In accordance with the new regulations, the first prize in the amount of 300 thousand rubles was supplemented with prizes for the second (200 thousand rubles) and third (100 thousand rubles) places. Developments that have been put into production with an annual turnover of at least 1.5 million rubles, or have not yet been implemented, but have received investments of at least 3 million rubles, are allowed to participate in the competition.

This year, the award ceremony will be held for the first time at the V Congress of Nanoindustry Enterprises in December 2016.

Applications for participation in the competition are accepted until October 10, 2016.
