Competition for organizers of scientific schools
A competition to support seasonal scientific schools in biology, mathematics, physics and chemistry in 2015 has been announced
It is held in order to support seasonal scientific schools in the field of biology, mathematics, physics and chemistry and to expand scientific and professional contacts among students, postgraduates, scientists specializing in various fields of biology, mathematics, physics and chemistry.
Terms of the 2015 ContestThe participants of the Competition are the organizers of seasonal schools – scientific organizations and/or educational organizations of higher professional education engaged in scientific activities in various fields of biology, mathematics, physics and chemistry.
- Applications are accepted on behalf of the organizing committees to support the organization and holding of seasonal scientific schools in biology, mathematics, physics and chemistry.
- Seasonal schools can be held in the field of biology, mathematics, physics, chemistry; interdisciplinary natural science seasonal schools are allowed.
- The participants of the seasonal school are young scientists whose age does not exceed 35 years at the beginning of the seasonal school.
- The seasonal school should be organized on the terms of an open and transparent competitive selection of participants, as well as early informing the general scientific community about the seasonal school.
- A seasonal school should have a high scientific level.
- The seasonal school should be organized on the territory of Russia, as well as CIS countries, but ensure a wide representation of Russian and/or foreign scientific schools (both among participants and among speakers).
- The theme of the seasonal school should be relevant and modern.
- The organizer/co-organizer must have experience in conducting such schools.
- Conducting a seasonal school should involve co–financing at the expense of the participant's own funds or the funds of other persons ("non-monetary co-financing" is also allowed - by providing the material base, equipment, and other necessary resources).
Seasonal schools that have received support from other projects of the Dynasty Foundation do not participate in the Competition.
Dates of seasonal schools: from May 1, 2015 to April 30, 2016.
According to the results of the Competition, no more than 60 applications for seasonal schools are selected.
The maximum amount allocated by the Dynasty Foundation to the winners of the Contest is 1,000,000 rubles. Financial support is provided on the terms of co-financing.
Applications are accepted until February 10, 2015.
The Dynasty Foundation will announce the results of the Competition by April 10, 2015.
