Competition for young immunologists

Competition of scientific projects in the field of immunology for young scientists 2017

The Scientific Research Institute of Fundamental and Clinical Immunology (NIIFKI) announces a competition of scientific projects in the field of immunology for young scientists.

Innovative projects in the following areas are accepted for participation in the selection: fundamental immunology, clinical immunology, molecular immunology.

The project completion period is 2-3 years (2017-2019).

Target audience: graduates of medical and biological universities, young scientists up to 33 years old (inclusive).

Requirements for the candidate – completed higher education (biological or medical education), postgraduate studies with an indication of the specialty (if available), academic degree, year of award (if available)

Applications for participation in the competitive selection are open until April 28, 2017. Applications must be sent in accordance with Form 1. Information about the project manager must be filled in in accordance with Form 2. (see Appendix)

The final selection and announcement of the winners will take place on May 15, 2017.

The winners of the competition must start the project no later than September 4, 2017.

The winner of the selection will receive:

• the opportunity to implement their research projects, having received the status of the head of the scientific group (full-time employment) and financial support from the organizers (NIIFKI) in the amount of 300 thousand rubles / year;
• the opportunity to create a working group of 2-3 people with the allocation of full-time M.sc.s. with a fixed salary (according to the staffing of NIIFKI);
• allocation of premises for work in NIIFKI;
• the ability to carry out your project with the involvement of the equipment of the CCP NIIFKI.
