Competition of innovative projects of St. Petersburg

The Committee on Science and Higher Education announces a Competition for the best innovative projects in the field of science and higher professional education in St. Petersburg in 2012 (hereinafter - the Competition).

The purpose of the Competition is to identify and support authors (groups of authors) implementing innovative projects in St. Petersburg, including representatives of higher educational institutions, scientific organizations, and other innovation-active organizations located on the territory of St. Petersburg, and to stimulate innovation activity in St. Petersburg.

The competition is held in the following categories:

• "The best scientific and innovative idea";
• "The best innovative business proposal";
• "The best business plan for an innovative project";
• "The best innovative product".

The following areas are highlighted in each of the nominations:

• nanosystems industry;
• information and telecommunication systems;
• life sciences;
• rational use of natural resources;
• transport and space systems;
• energy efficiency, energy conservation, nuclear power.

The winners of the Competition for the best innovative projects in the field of science and higher professional education in St. Petersburg are awarded with diplomas and valuable prizes.
