Competition of research papers of students and postgraduates in the field of biological sciences
In order to reveal and support the creative abilities of young people, stimulate students to research work, develop the image of science, establish contacts between students, graduate students and university teachers from different countries and regions, Ulyanovsk State University, within the framework of the All-Russian Science Festival, holds an All-Russian competition of research works of students and postgraduates in the field of biological sciences.Scientific, methodological and informational support of the competition, preparation of draft decisions of the competition commission on awarding the laureates of the competition with diplomas is carried out by Ulyanovsk State University
Objectives of the Contest:identification and support of the best innovative research works;
- involvement of university students in the field of innovation;
- increasing the level of human resources in the field of science;
- increasing the motivation of university students involved in the creation of innovative technologies and products;
- providing opportunities for participants to implement their own innovative ideas and projects;
- creating an environment for communication and exchange of experience of participants in the innovation process;
- creation of a database of initiative, talented youth.

Terms of the Contest:
Round 1 (qualifying)
- 01-30.06.2011 – registration and placement of abstracts reflecting the content of research, texts of research papers and innovative projects on the official website of the Competition;
- 01-17.07.2011 – examination of research papers submitted for the competition;
- 18-24.07.2011 – announcement of the results and awarding of the winners of the qualifying round of the competition.
Round 2 (final)
- 25.07-29.08.2011 – examination of research works that won the qualifying round;
- 01.09.2011 – announcement of the results and awarding of the winners of the Competition.
The winners of the Competition will be awarded with diplomas, medals, valuable prizes: Graduate students:
